"I have tried many different yoga classes, instructors, and studios. There is no one around the entire Tampa Bay area like Ani Yoga. They are true professionals and 100% devoted to their practice and to their teaching. It is worth the drive if you are not in the area and pricing is very reasonable."

"Great class yesterday, I told you it felt like I had a good massage when it was done."

"After 2 sessions my son has noticeable increased flexibility, and his dexterity on the basketball court seems to have improved as well.  He had one of his best workouts ever last night with his shooting coach.  He says is getting up higher on his off leg.  He is a righty, so his lay-ups are usually off the left leg.  Well he is now getting the same lift off the other leg.  He says he is jumping higher off both legs too, as evidenced by him grabbing rim =)  The thing I was most impressed with is that his movements (v-cuts, jab steps, high-speed agility movements associated to basketball) really seemed effortless and natural last night.  As opposed to looking awkward at times and forced.  Thanks so much!"

"The fruits of a daily practice are often noticed in small but rewarding ways.
On a trip home from Jacksonville, I found myself headed in an unintended direction. After 35 minutes of Interstate driving with no familiar exits in sight, the realization of my error slowly surfaced. My stomach tightened and I began the fast and furious inner talk that makes mountains out of molehills.

Yoga teaches us to make small adjustments in our postures that mirror the adjustments needed in negotiating our daily lives. So I stopped the internal chatter by taking a few deep breaths, determining to make an adjustment. This was a conscious action that I believe emerged from the practice of yoga.

As a result of my mistake, I ended up taking a lovely rural route across Florida, stopping along the way to purchase potted herbs and shelled peas and other locally grown produce. I admired the architecture of old churches and the historic centers of small towns that have miraculously remained that way since their early development. As I think back on my weekend in Jacksonville, it is the trip home that I most remember."
